WAKE UP!

Friendly Advice and Wake Up were two videos that were produced for an exhibition titled Wake Up! Wake Up features a character’s plea for help as they are stuck in sleep paralysis. Friendly advice is an imagined nightmare where a floating glitter head repeatedly gives advice from Dale Carnegie’s smash hit book How to Win Friends and Influence People (1937). As the advice keeps getting doled out memories from watching the movie Titanic too many times start creeping in, heightening anxiety and stress.
