Hearts are Dead

Three friends are plagued by dread as they try to escape from their hometown. They soon realize, after everyone around them is gone, that there is nowhere to go even if they do leave. They seek out the local witch and end it all by walking into a fire. Balloons serve as a metaphor for their souls eventual escape from this post-apocalyptic wasteland.
